يا مَن سَرَيْتَ لَيْلًا مُصاحِبَ جِبْرِيلَ
لِلمسجد الأَقْصَى فِي تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةِ فِي تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةِ
īā man sarayta laylan muṣāḥiba jibrīla
lilmsjdal aqṣā fī tilkal laylati fī tilkal laylati
O you who traveled at night, accompanied Gabriel
To Al-Aqsa Mosque that night that night
حَبِيبِي يا مُحَمَّد يا صادِقًا بِالوَعْدِ يا أَحْمَد يا مُؤَيَّد مِنَ الفَرْدِ الصَّمَد
يا صادِقَ المَقالِ يا ذَا المَقامِ العالِي يا مَن حَبَاهُ رَبِّي بِطِيبِ الأَفْعالِ
ḥabībī īā muḥammad īā ṣādiqan bil waʿdi īā aḥmad īā muayyad minal fardiṣ ṣamad
īā ṣādiqal maqāli īā dhāl maqāmil ʿālī īā man ḥabāhu rabbī biṭībil afʿāli
My beloved, O Muhammad, O truthful in promise, O Ahmad, O supported by the One, the Eternal Refuge
O truthful in speech, O possessor of high status, O he whom my Lord has endowed with good deeds
يا مَن سَرَيْتَ لَيْلًا مُصاحِبَ جِبْرِيلَ
لِلمسجد الأَقْصَى فِي تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةِ فِي تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةِ
īā man sarayta laylan muṣāḥiba jibrīla
lilmsjdal aqṣā fī tilkal laylati fī tilkal laylati
O you who traveled at night, accompanied Gabriel
To Al-Aqsa Mosque that night that night
صَلَّيْتَ يا مُحَمَّد بِجَمْعِ المُرْسَلِينَ كُنْتَ فِيهِمْ إِمامًا وَكانُوا مُهْتَدِينَ
ثُمَّ بَعْدَ الصَّلاةِ سِرْتَ لِلسَّماواتِ فَوْقَ ظَهْرِ البُراقِ لِرَبِّ العالَمِينَ
ṣallayta īā muḥammad bijamʿil mursalīna kunta fīhim imāman wa kānū muhtadīna
thumma baʿdaṣ ṣalāti sirta lilssamāwāti fawqa ẓahril burāqi lirabbil ʿālamīna
You, O Muhammad, led the Messengers in prayer. You were their leader and they were guided.
Then after the prayer, you traveled to the heavens above the back of Al-Buraq to the Lord of the Worlds.
يا مَن سَرَيْتَ لَيْلًا مُصاحِبَ جِبْرِيلَ
لِلمسجد الأَقْصَى فِي تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةِ فِي تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةِ
īā man sarayta laylan muṣāḥiba jibrīla
lilmsjdal aqṣā fī tilkal laylati fī tilkal laylati
O you who traveled at night, accompanied Gabriel
To Al-Aqsa Mosque that night that night
بِيُمْنٍ وَسُرُورٍ وَفَوْقَ السِّدْرَةِ وَأُنْسٍ وَحُضُورٍ لِقُدْسِ الحَضْرَةِ
حَيَّاكْ إِلى هُنا وَقَدْ نِلْتَ المُنى يا مَنْ حَبَاهُ رَبِّي بِطِيبِ الأَفْعالِ
biyumnin wa surūrin wa fawqas sidrati wa unsin wa ḥuḍūrin liqudsil ḥaḍrati
ḥayyāk il hunā wa qad niltal mun īā man ḥabāhu rabbī biṭībil afʿāli
With happiness and joy, above the lote tree, and with familiarity and presence in the sanctity of the Allah's Presence.
Welcome here, you have achieved your wish, O one whom my Lord has blessed with good deeds.

لِلمسجد الأَقْصَى فِي تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةِ فِي تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةِ
