يَاكِتَابَ الغُيُوبْ قَدْ لَجَأْنَا إِلَيْكْ
يَا شِفَاءَ الصُّدُورْ الصَّلَاةُ عَلَيْكْ
yākitābal ghuyūb qad laja’nā ilayk
yā shifā’aṣ ṣudūrṣ ṣalātu ʿalayk
O Book of the Unseen, we have sought refuge in you
O Healer of Hearts, prayers be upon you
أَنْتَ بِالافْتِتَاحْ خَتْمُ حِزْبِ النَّجَاحْ
وَمَنَارُ الصَّلاَحْ لَاحَ مِنْ مَظْهَرَيْكْ
anta bil āftitāḥ khatmu ḥizbin najāḥ
wamanāruṣ ṣalaḥ lāḥa min maẓharayk
You are the Opening, the seal of the Party of Success
And the beacon of righteousness shone from Your appearance
أَنْتَ رُوحُ الوُجُودْ كَنْزُ فَضْلٍ وَجُودْ
فِي مَقَامِ الشُّهُودْ كُلُّ فَضْلٍ لَدَيْكْ
anta rūḥul wujūd kanzu faḍlin wajūd
fī maqāmish shuhūd kullu faḍlin ladayk
You are the soul of existence, a treasure of grace and generosity
In the station of witnessing, all virtues are with you
يَاكِتَابَ الغُيُوبْ قَدْ لَجَأْنَا إِلَيْكْ
يَا شِفَاءَ الصُّدُورْ الصَّلَاةُ عَلَيْكْ
yākitābal ghuyūb qad laja’nā ilayk
yā shifā’aṣ ṣudūrṣ ṣalātu ʿalayk
O Book of the Unseen, we have sought refuge in you
O Healer of Hearts, prayers be upon you
أَنْتَ مَجْلَى الجَلَالْ فِي نِظَامِ الجَمَالْ
كُلُّ هَذَا النَّوَالْ فَاضَ مِنْ رَاحَتَـيْكْ
anta majlal jalaāl fī niẓāmil jamaāl
kullu hadhan nawal fāḍa min rāḥatayk
You are the manifestation of majesty in the system of beauty
All this bounty flowed from your hands
أَنْتَ سِرُّ الكِتَابْ عَنْكَ فَصْلُ الخِطَابْ
وَبِيَومِ الحِسَابْ فَالرُّجُوعُ إِلَيْكْ
anta sirrul kitāb ʿanka faṣlul khiṭāb
wabiyawmil ḥisāb far rujūʿu ilayk
You are the secret of the Book, from you is the decisive word
And on the Day of Reckoning, the return is to you
يَاكِتَابَ الغُيُوبْ قَدْ لَجَأْنَا إِلَيْكْ
يَا شِفَاءَ الصُّدُورْ الصَّلَاةُ عَلَيْكْ
yākitābal ghuyūb qad laja’nā ilayk
yā shifā’aṣ ṣudūrṣ ṣalātu ʿalayk
O Book of the Unseen, we have sought refuge in you
O Healer of Hearts, prayers be upon you
أَنْتَ طَهَ الرَّسُولْ تَاجُ أَهْلِ القَبُولْ
كُلُّ هَمِّي يَزُولْ بِاعْتِمَادِي عَلَيْكْ
anta ṭahar rasūl tāju ahlil qabūl
kullu hammī yazūl biʿ timādī ʿalayk
You are Taha the Messenger, the crown of the accepted ones
All my worries vanish by relying on you
طَلْعَةُ المَحْبُوبْ غَايَةُ المَطْلُوبْ
مَنْ رَأَى يَدْرِي وَالسِّوَى مَحْجُوبْ
ṭalʿatul maḥbūb ghāyatul maṭlūb
man ra’ā yadrī was siwā maḥjūb
The appearance of the Beloved is the ultimate goal
Whoever sees knows, and others are veiled
يَاكِتَابَ الغُيُوبْ قَدْ لَجَأْنَا إِلَيْكْ
يَا شِفَاءَ الصُّدُورْ الصَّلَاةُ عَلَيْكْ
yākitābal ghuyūb qad laja’nā ilayk
yā shifā’aṣ ṣudūrṣ ṣalātu ʿalayk
O Book of the Unseen, we have sought refuge in you
O Healer of Hearts, prayers be upon you
وَجْهُهُ ظَاهِرْ بَاهِرُ الأُسْلُوبْ
لَوْحُ نُورَانِي بِالوَرَى مَكْتُوبْ
wajhuhu ẓāhir bāhirul uslūb
lawḥu nūrānī bil warā maktūb
His face is apparent, brilliant in style
A luminous tablet inscribed in the universe
جَلَّ مَنْ أَبْدَعْ سِرَّهُ المُودَعْ
فِي جَمِيْعِ الكَوْنْ فَافْتَحِ المَخْدَعْ
jalla man abdaʿ sirrahul mūdaʿ
fī jamiyʿil kawn faf taḥil makhdaʿ
Exalted is He who created, His secret deposited
In the entire universe, so open the chamber
يَاكِتَابَ الغُيُوبْ قَدْ لَجَأْنَا إِلَيْكْ
يَا شِفَاءَ الصُّدُورْ الصَّلَاةُ عَلَيْكْ
yākitābal ghuyūb qad laja’nā ilayk
yā shifā’aṣ ṣudūrṣ ṣalātu ʿalayk
O Book of the Unseen, we have sought refuge in you
O Healer of Hearts, prayers be upon you
وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلَامْ يَا رَسُولَ الأَنَامْ
مَا شَدَا مُسْتَهَامْ بِالصَّلَاةِ عَلَيْكْ
waʿalaykas salām yā rasūlal anām
mā shadā mustahām biṣ ṣalāti ʿalayk
And peace be upon you, O Messenger of humanity
As long as the enamored sings with prayers upon you
